Tinazzi

The Primitivo di Manduria LXXIV produced by Tinazzi, which mainly produces wines from Verona, has been selected as one of the 100 best wines in the world by Wine Spectator for two consecutive years.

There is a grape in Italy known as the "Barolo of Southern Italy", that is Aglianico del Vulture. Vulture, a sub-region of Basilicata, is one of the three most recognized DOCG producing regions for Aglianico in southern Italy (upgraded to DOCG in 2011), Aglianico prefers hot and dry climates, and is one of the late-ripening grapes.

Aglianico wines from the Vulture region are typically high in tannin, full-bodied, and have long aging potential.

Aglianico  Italian is a black grape grown in the southern regions of Italy, mostly Basilicata and Campania. It is considered by Sangiovese and Nebbiolo to be one of the three greatest Italian varieties. Aglianico is sometimes called "The Barolo of the South"  due to its ability to produce highly refined, complex fine wines like the famous Piedmont wine, Barolo.

Most Puglia red wines are ripe, full-bodied, and pair well with spiced meats. Puglia's wine producers all have one thing in common; they focus on producing indigenous grape varieties, such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Bombino Nero.
