Braida

Braida winery is located in Asti, Piedmont, Italy, and its vineyards are concentrated in Monferrato and Langhe, a town in the mountainous region. ). There are five vineyards in total, three of which are located in the small towns of Rocchetta Tanaro in Monferrato, Castelnuovo Calcea, and Castiglione d'Asti. The rest are in Mango and Trezzo Tinella in Langhe. Braida's annual production is about 300,000 wines per year.

Barbera

In recent years, people have begun to value Barbera wines, and different styles have been developed, ranging from simple and fruity cheap wines to expensive wines aged in oak barrels.

The variety of styles of Barbera wines stems from the differences in different origins and the preferences of different winemakers. While some winemakers use oak barrels to age Barbera wines to develop complex spice flavors, people prefer the fresh and pure cherry flavors of Barbera itself.

Food and wine pairing

The acidity of Barbera can suppress the oiliness of the dish, and it is suitable for pairing with red meat, mushrooms, and high-tannin foods (such as root vegetables), which can complement the food.

Piedmont

Piedmont is in northwestern Italy, while Burgundy is in France. As early as Roman times, Piedmont has been known worldwide for its high-quality wines. Now, the region has 16 D.O.C.G. (guaranteed regional wines) and 44 D.O.C. (designated regional wines), far ahead of other Italian areas. Piedmont is located in the hills of the Alps. The vineyards of the producing area are almost all on the hillsides, the land is well structured, and the soil is fertile. It has a continental climate with cold winters and hot summers. The temperature difference between day and night during the grape ripening period is significant. The grape skin can gather more flavor substances, and the brewed wine has a more robust and lasting aroma.
