Tinazzi - CA' DE' ROCCHI
This is a vineyard owned by the Tinazzi family, located in Lazise, Verona, in the heart of Valpolicella, in the juicing cellar of Sant' Ambrogio. It is equipped with modern winemaking and drying equipment for producing famous products such as Amarone Della Valpolicella and Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso. The story of the winner initially, Tinazzi was a small business producing mainly wines from Verona and selling them locally. With years of hard work and sales growth, the business expanded to Lombardy and the whole of northern Italy. Now its wines have been dumped throughout Europe, America, and Asia. The company owns 72 vineyards, with four estates in Veneto and Puglia. Now, it is managed by the founder's son Gian Andrea and his grandsons Giorgio and Francesca, respectively. In Puglia, the Tinazzi San wine cellar has become an outstanding manner for producing internationally rated wines. Here are the 100 best wines in the world Tinazzi Feudo Croce is a beautiful farmhouse located in Casino, near the Salento peninsula, in the Puglia region, producing exceptional Puglia wines. The Tinazzi family bought the estate in 2001, now the most significant estate in southern Puglia, managed mainly by grandson Giorgio.
Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris, pinot grigio, or Grauburgunder is a white wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. Thought to be a mutant clone of the Pinot noir variety, it normally has a grayish-blue fruit, accounting for its name but the grapes can have a brownish pink to black and even white appearance. The word pinot could have been given to it because the grapes grow in small pine cone-shaped clusters. The wines produced from this grape also vary in color from a deep golden yellow to copper and even a light shade of pink, and it is one of the more popular grapes for skin-contact wine.
Veneto - the most famous of the 3 major producing regions in northeastern Italy
Veneto is a substantial and increasingly important wine region in the northeastern corner of Italy. Administratively it forms part of the Triveneto zone, along with its smaller neighbors Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. In terms of geography, culture, and wine styles, it represents a transition between the alpine, Germano-Slavic end of Italy and the warmer, drier, more Roman lands to the south.
Veneto is slightly smaller than Italy's other main wine-producing regions – Piedmont, Tuscany, Lombardy, Puglia, and Sicily – yet it generates more wine than any of them. Although the southern regions Sicily and Puglia were for a long time Italy's main wine producers, this balance began to shift north towards Veneto in the latter half of the 20th Century. In the 1990s, southern Italian wine languished in an increasingly competitive and demanding world, while Veneto upped its game, gaining recognition with such wines as Valpolicella, Amarone, Soave, and Prosecco.
With fruity red Valpolicella complementing its intense Amarone and sweet Recioto counterparts, Veneto is armed with a formidable portfolio of red wines to go with its refreshing whites, such as Soave and sparkling Prosecco. Although much of the new vineyard area that supported Veneto's increased wine output was of questionable viticultural quality, today more than 25 percent of the region's wine is made and sold under DOC/DOCG titles.
